Gettysburg Address and Flag Raising – Plus Smokey Bear!

Celebrate Independence Day at Peninsula State Park’s nature center on Wednesday, July 3, from 10 – 11 a.m. We’ll raise the flag together then listen to a reading of Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address by Charles Dickson. Afterwards, Smokey Bear, America’s firefighting bear, will arrive to “shake paws”. Kids who recite Smokey’s fire safety message will receive a prize.
