Lend a Hand at Pen Park

Lend a hand protecting beautiful Sven’s Bluff on Tuesday, May 15, at Peninsula State Park. Pull garlic mustard at a Door County Invasive Team (DCIST) Work Day. Meet at Park Headquarters at 9:30 then car-pool about a mile. Help pull garlic mustard. Stay 30 minutes or longer. Bring gloves if you have them (provided for those who don’t) and wear sturdy shoes for walking on uneven terrain. Long pants recommended. Snacks provided by DCIST. Bring binoculars if you have them for bird watching. Rain date Tuesday May 22. A volunteer courtesy pass will be provided for those without state park vehicle stickers.
