Beginning Memorial Day weekend Peninsula State Park, your “Park for All People”, is offering a limited number of wheelchairs for use this summer 2023 at the Eagle Observation Tower. These chairs will allow those with physical limitations to enjoy the 850 foot long canopy walkway and experience the panoramic views from the top of Eagle Tower.
The Park staff along with the Friends of Peninsula State Park are dedicated to making more of the Park amenities accessible to all people, regardless of their physical abilities. We are currently investigating a “Track Action” wheel chair designed for all-terrain. This motorized chair will be available on a reservation basis to allow visitors to explore areas of the Park that may have been inaccessible to them before.
