Smokey Bear at Pen Park

Smokey Bear will be at the White Cedar Nature Center on Saturday, May 25, sharing his fire safety message as part of his 75th birthday celebration. The program begins at 10:30 a.m. with the true story of how rangers rescued Smokey as a cub from a forest fire. Smokey will arrive about 11 a.m. and be at the Nature Center until noon.
The program is free and open to the public but a state park vehicle sticker is required. Come shake paws and receive a Smokey Bear prize. Kids can color a retro nature transfer that park staff will iron on a t-shirt. Shirts are free but donations are appreciated.
