Migrate to Peninsula for Spring Bird Walks

May 1, 2018 @ 8:00 am - 9:00 am CDT

Migrate to Peninsula State Park the first two Tuesdays in May for spring bird walks. Meet at 8 a.m. at Weborg Shelter on May 1 and May 8 for a casual walk with Naturalist Kathleen Harris.  Look for palm, yellow-rumped, and other warblers as well as shorebirds on an hour-long, naturalist-led walk. Will bloodroot be blooming? Limited binoculars available for free loan or bring your own. Easy walking, less than a half-mile. This program is free and open to the public but a state park vehicle sticker is required. Program cancelled in inclement weather. If you need more information call the park nature center at 920 854-5976 or park headquarters at 920-868-3258.
