Leave a Lasting Legacy at Peninsula State Park
The Friends of Peninsula State Park are offering a very limited opportunity to create a lasting tribute within one of the park’s most exciting new areas. You can honor a loved one, celebrate your family’s connection to the park, or leave your personal legacy by dedicating a memorial bench at the new Highland Trailhead (Lot 5).
A Special Place to Be Remembered
The Highland Trailhead is undergoing a remarkable transformation. Soon it will feature:
- A welcoming Gathering Place
- A cozy warming chalet
- Improved trail maintenance equipment storage
- Better visitor parking
- Central access to both new and long‑established trails
As this hub becomes a vibrant gateway for thousands of visitors each year, a limited number of benches will be placed throughout the trailhead area. Your bench could become one of them.
A Unique Tribute — First Come, First Served
Each bench is available for a donation of $7,000 and includes a customized aluminum plaque.
You may personalize the plaque with up to 6 lines of text (maximum 30 characters per line), laser‑engraved in a striking dark gray finish. The sample drawing on the left shows how your wording will appear. Download the Park Bench Donation Form for additional details.
